Here at Stantec, we are preparing for what promises to be a very exciting 2025 and beyond. Our ongoing work with Scottish Water, coupled with a number of successful framework bids across the North of England & beyond, means that we have a diverse and challenging pipeline to look forward to.

Based in Glasgow & Edinburgh, our teams are currently supporting clients in delivering projects across wastewater infrastructure, storm water overflows, and treatment works. Additionally, our Scottish teams have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the country, working on projects for Northumbrian Water, Yorkshire Water, and United Utilities.

We are looking to recruit a Civil Engineer into our Water Team in Glasgow. This role offers the chance to work across the entire project lifecycle, including asset planning/strategy, concept design, outline design, and detailed design, guided by our Project Technical Leads and Senior/Principal Civil Engineers.

About You

• You’ll have a degree in Civil Engineering (or related subject) and be working toward Chartered status with a relevant professional body such as ICE or CIWEM.
• You will have a passion for the Water & Environment sector, with experience contributing to community-focused projects and collaborating with project teams to develop innovative solutions within the water industry.
• We will support your growth through training and project exposure, helping you broaden your skillset and progress in your career.
