Civil Engineer - Technical Advisor

Job Description:

Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) is the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets across six continents. They offer challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.

We are seeking a Civil Engineer - Technical Advisor for a contract of approximately 20 months, based at our offices in Leatherhead, working five days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of engineering deliverables within the assigned scope, including design basis, material specifications, and construction standards.
• Perform engineering studies and produce recommendation reports independently.
• Familiarity with American and Euro design codes and standards.
• Coordinate, direct, and review analysis and calculations related to structures (buildings, equipment support structures, pipe racks, culverts/bridges, earth retaining structures), foundations (shallow, piled), and civil infrastructure (site preparation, earthworks, roads).
• Prepare material take-offs.
• Collaborate with other disciplines, clients, and third-party contractors, and coordinate with project team members across global offices to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

The role is likely outside IR35, allowing engagement through a Ltd company.
