Based from Stockport Office Reporting to Team Leader Permanent, full-time employment

Our purpose is to facilitate the investment and delivery of energy infrastructure projects that positively influence the energy transition. Our Engineers and Consultants support some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK and Ireland; providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, and owner-operators.

We have over 175 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting a civil/structural engineer to be based in our Stockport, Greater Manchester office.

What we are looking for:
  1. A good degree in either Civil or Structural Engineering
  2. Have achieved, or be actively working towards, ICE or IStructE professional chartered membership
  3. Recent technical experience gained with industrial/heavy civils projects
  4. Experience of conducting quality inspections of materials and methods such as pre-formed and cast concrete structures and steelwork
  5. A good understanding of foundation piling, environmental issues, building codes and geotechnical studies
  6. The ability to produce and explain high quality technical reports and feasibility studies for clients
  7. Comfortable in interpreting engineering drawings, design specifications and functional descriptions
  8. Fully conversant with Microsoft Office
  9. Knowledge of CDM Regulations and risk assessments, able to identify quality issues and design risks
  10. Able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary project team
  11. Full right to work in the UK
  12. A full driving licence and vehicle for travel to sites/meetings
