Qualifications
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
UK consultancy experience in roads, drainage or infrastructure design.
Familiar with PDS, Windes or similar design software.
Good understanding of UK standards and approval processes.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.
Responsibilities
Act as Project or Assistant Project Engineer on civil engineering schemes.
Prepare and check road and drainage designs using relevant software.
Support Flood Risk Assessments and water main designs.
Monitor budgets, programmes and quality of technical outputs.
Coordinate approvals and liaise with clients and design teams.
Undertake infrastructure surveys and prepare technical reports.
Support site inspections and review contractor proposals.
Assist with risk assessments and support Principal Designer duties.
