A leading consultancy in Scotland is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience, along with UK consultancy background. Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• UK consultancy experience in roads, drainage or infrastructure design.
• Familiar with PDS, Windes or similar design software.
• Good understanding of UK standards and approval processes.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project or Assistant Project Engineer on civil engineering schemes.
• Prepare and check road and drainage designs using relevant software.
• Support Flood Risk Assessments and water main designs.
• Monitor budgets, programmes and quality of technical outputs.
• Coordinate approvals and liaise with clients and design teams.
• Undertake infrastructure surveys and prepare technical reports.
• Support site inspections and review contractor proposals.
• Assist with risk assessments and support Principal Designer duties.
