My client is seeking to speak with highly motivated Civil Engineers with 3-6 years of UK-based experience for their Norwich office. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects, with a particular focus on sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and flood risk assessments.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
  1. Support the design of surface water drainage systems in line with current UK regulations and best practice
  2. Prepare and review Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies for planning applications
  3. Design and model drainage systems using MicroDrainage and InfoDrainage
  4. Liaise effectively with clients, local authorities, and other consultants to ensure smooth project delivery
Essential Requirements:
  1. 3-6 years of post-graduate UK civil engineering experience
  2. Knowledge of SuDS design principles and UK planning policies
  3. Experience in using MicroDrainage and InfoDrainage software
  4. Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
  1. Experience working across multidisciplinary teams
  2. Familiarity with Civil 3D or similar modelling software
  3. Membership or working towards chartership with ICE or CIWEM
