Job summary

Stantec in Bristol is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a growing team delivering infrastructure projects across the South West and beyond. You will work from concept through to construction, applying sustainable design and collaborative problem solving.

You will develop highway and drainage designs, liaise with authorities, and support project delivery while advancing your career with flexible hybrid working and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, preferably in a consultancy.
• Experience with highway and drainage design and UK standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our team, delivering innovative infrastructure projects across the South West and beyond. ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll contribute to the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across a range of sectors, working from concept and planning through to detailed design and construction support.

You'll collaborate with colleagues across our buildings, environmental and transportation teams to deliver integrated solutions, while developing your technical skills and supporting the wider team.

YOUR IMPACT

You will:

ABOUT YOU

You’ll have a BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, ideally within a consultancy environment.

You’ll also have:

• Experience in highway and drainage design.
• Good knowledge of relevant UK standards and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for developing your career.
• Experience with Civil 3D and InfoDrainage would be advantageous.
• A passion for delivering high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.
