Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Engineer to join our Civil Engineering / Infrastructure team in the United Kingdom, delivering sustainable design across SuDS, drainage, utilities and earthworks. You will work with a multidisciplinary group to translate concepts into constructible solutions and develop client relationships.

You’ll contribute to design delivery across RIBA stages, pursuing ICE Chartership, and benefit from flexible working, development opportunities and a supportive environment that values

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Active progression toward CEng or IEng with a relevant institution.
• Experience contributing to delivery of projects through all RIBA stages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical report experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to civil and infrastructure design delivery across projects (SuDS, drainage, utilities, earthworks, highways).
• Integrate civil design with other disciplines ensuring coordinated, constructible outcomes.
• Develop skills to represent Ramboll with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to health, safety and quality best practices (including CDM).
• Support business development: build relationships, gather market intelligence and contribute to discipline bids.
• Take ownership of career development toward ICE Chartership.

• Contribute tocivil and infrastructure design delivery across projects (SuDS, surface & foul drainage, utilities, earthworks, highways) whether driven by Infrastructure or multi-disciplinary programmes.
• Contribute to the integration ofcivil design with other disciplines, ensuring coordinated and constructible outcomes.
• Develop the skills torepresentRamboll with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute tohealth,safetyand quality best practice (including CDM) acrossthe team.

About you

• Technical background in civil engineering:SuDS, surface & fouldrainageand earthworks design, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards.
• Experiencecontributing to the delivery ofprojects through all RIBA stages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience producing technical reports.
• Degree in Civil Engineeringor equivalent qualification.
• Actively working towardCEng or IEng with a relevantinstitution.
• An interest in learning new skills and adesire to progress yourcareer.
• Desirable software experience:InfoDrainage,MicroDrainage, Civil 3D.
