Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Decatur, AL, seeks a Civil Engineer to perform engineering tasks supporting the complete design of civil-site projects. This full-time role offers benefits, relocation support may be available, and upward mobility opportunities. Responsibilities include producing design calculations, assisting with plans, fieldwork, developing specifications, and coordinating with discipline leads and clients.

Ideal background includes a B.S. or M.S.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) registration strongly preferred or may be required.
• 1–3 years of civil-site engineering experience in industrial environments.

Responsabilidades

• Produce low complex, complete design calculations and assignments.
• Provide design assistance on larger and more complex projects.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies.
• Assist with drafting of plans and details for engineering drawings.
• Perform fieldwork to gather data and provide construction support.
• Develop written construction specifications defining scope and quality.
• Conduct land development and zoning code research.
• Work with discipline lead engineer on scope changes.
• Review submittal drawings and documentation.
