Job description

Caralex Recruitment has been asked by a residential developer to find a Civil Engineer to join their well-established Technical department.

The role involves appointing, overseeing, and managing external civil engineering design consultants involved in various residential developments.

The ideal candidate would be a Civil Engineer with a background in design consultancy within the residential sector. Responsibilities include assisting in the production of layouts and technical reports, briefing and commissioning site investigations, and managing engineering consultants on a range of design works such as roads, sewers, and private drainage.

The candidate should have knowledge of section agreements such as Sections 38, 104, and 278, and be qualified at an HNC level or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related building discipline.
