The Role

This site-based graduate engineering role involves assisting with day-to-day activities on major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development program aims to develop your personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended learning approach, working under the supervision of project managers and in collaboration with the site team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating team activities to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
  • Work with procurement to ensure financial compliance.
  • Ensure project compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Support project managers in team management, resource planning, and performance management.
  • Promote Ferrovial’s values and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and promote safety on site.

Skills and Competence

Applicants should have:

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • A degree or master’s in engineering (all disciplines considered).
  • Motivation to learn and contribute.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive learning attitude.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.

Interpersonal Skills

Desirable

  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Engineering experience or CSCS card.

  • Right to work in the UK for the duration of the program.
