Alten is seeking a Civil Engineer in the UK to oversee on-site activities for major construction and infrastructure projects. You will ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while maintaining precise site diaries and reports.
Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in large civil works, strong organisation and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time and to spec. Occasional site travel may be required.
As a Civil Engineer, you will join our team in Bridgewater to support major construction and infrastructure projects.
This role focuses on overseeing on-site activities, ensuring quality compliance, monitoring construction progress, and maintaining accurate site records aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring that work is delivered safely, to specification, and in line with project expectations.
You will work closely with contractors, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards across all stages of construction delivery.
