Due to a healthy forward workload, our client is currently looking to appoint a full-time Civil Engineer with relevant postgraduate experience for their office in East Grinstead.

The successful Civil Engineer will have the opportunity to work in one of the UK’s leading private Engineering Consultancies on projects across commercial, retail, residential, and industrial sectors.

All engineers work under the supervision of experienced directors and alongside dedicated engineers and technicians. The company offers an ICE-approved training agreement and a pathway to chartered membership.

Depending on experience, you can expect to be involved in multiple projects and clients simultaneously. Experience in major highways infrastructure is a plus.

CIVIL ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design infrastructure for various sectors, including SUDS drainage, roads to standards.
  • Coordinate with statutory bodies such as Southern Water, Roads Department, SEPA.
  • Use technical analysis and design software like PDS, Civils 3D, Micro Drainage, AutoCAD.
  • Attend design and site meetings, conduct site inspections.
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, contractors, and other designers.
  • Manage projects within budget and schedule constraints.
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
