Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Cardiff office. You will take ownership of civil design across development projects, focusing on drainage, highways and external works while working with a multidisciplinary team.

You will contribute to project delivery from feasibility through to technical approval, with opportunities for professional development and Chartered progression within a supportive consultancy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Chartered or working towards Chartership
• Strong experience in drainage, highways and external works design
• Good knowledge of SAB legislation and approvals
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage
• Strong communication and client-facing skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil design across development projects
• Prepare foul and surface water drainage design and SAB submissions
• Produce levels, cut and fill, highways and external works designs
• Attend design team meetings and coordinate project inputs
