Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a practical Civil Engineer to join our national Building Design Practice. The role is non-location specific with the opportunity to work remotely or from any UK office, reflecting a flexible working approach.

You will apply knowledge and problem-solving skills across civil engineering structures, drainage, utilities and pavements. Responsibilities include delivering small to medium infrastructure projects, producing designs to standards, ensuring high-quality services and

Qualifications

Good communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.
Experience with drainage, utilities, paved and unpaved surfaces, earthworks, construction logistics.
Familiarity with UK design standards and working practices.

Responsibilities

Contributing to the delivery of small to medium infrastructure projects as part of a technically focused design.
Production of designs for projects in accordance with relevant design standards and codes.
Ensuring the provision of efficient and high-quality engineering services.
Effectively manage own time.
Collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures.
Be aware of BIM standards and project BIM Execution plan.
