Job summary

RGB’s client, a forward-thinking consultancy, is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Bristol team on a permanent basis. You will take ownership of detailed design delivery, manage client interactions, and mentor apprentices and graduate engineers.

You will work alongside the Civils and Structures teams on a broad range of projects across regional offices, with genuine career progression and a clear path to seniority.

A Civil Engineer is sought by RGB’s client, a forward-thinking consultancy, to join their expanding Bristol team on a permanent basis. This position offers a salary between £38,000 and £50,000 per annum. You will take ownership of detailed design delivery, manage client interactions, and mentor apprentices and graduate engineers. Working alongside the Civils and Structures teams, your projects will span multiple regional offices, providing broad exposure. The consultancy promotes genuine career progression without limitations.

About the Role

As a Civil Engineer, you’ll be involved in delivering detailed design work, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members including apprentices and graduate engineers. You’ll work closely with both the Civils and Structures teams on a broad range of projects, across a few regional offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed designs for drainage, highways, and infrastructure
• Lead and manage projects from concept to completion
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external consultants
• Support and mentor junior staff
• Work towards achieving IEng or CEng status
