Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer – Roads & Drainage

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

A consultancy in Manchester is delivering a steady pipeline of housing and infrastructure schemes – and they're after a Senior Civil Engineer to lead on drainage and highway packages.

? You’ll be responsible for:

• Designing adoptable highways and drainage (S278, S38, S104)
• Mentoring junior staff and liaising with clients
• Using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage

? What you’ll need:

• 6+ years’ experience in UK civil design (housing/infrastructure)
• Strong knowledge of adoptions and approvals
• Able to lead design work with minimal oversight
• Ideally available within 2–3 weeks

This is a hybrid role with flexibility on office days. The team is supportive, delivery-focused, and looking for someone who can take ownership.
