Civil Engineer (Highways or Drainage)
Location: Manchester

Are you a Civil Engineer with a passion for highways or drainage design? I am looking for talented individuals with 3-6 years of UK-based civil engineering experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and delivery of highway schemes, including knowledge of Section 38 & Section 278 agreements
- Drainage design for a range of developments, incorporating SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems)
- Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)
- Use of industry-standard software such as MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage
- Liaising with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders
- Supporting senior engineers and mentoring junior team members where required
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant civil engineering experience within the UK is a MUST (Candidates with overseas experience will not be considered)
- Strong working knowledge of S38 & S278 highway agreements
- Proven experience in drainage design including SuDS
- Competency in producing flood risk assessments
- Proficient in MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Based in Manchester
