Role Overview
  • Design Basis and Specification Preparation: Collaborate with the lead engineer to develop design basis and material/construction specifications.
  • Engineering Studies and Reports: Independently conduct engineering studies and produce recommendation reports.
  • American and Euro Norm Design Codes: Utilize your familiarity with these codes and standards to ensure compliance in all engineering deliverables.
  • Analysis and Calculations: Coordinate, direct, and review analysis and calculations for various structures, including buildings, equipment support structures, pipe racks, culverts/bridges, and earth retaining structures.
  • Foundations: Design shallow and piled foundations as needed.
  • Civil Infrastructure: Oversee site preparation earthworks and road construction.
  • Material Take-Offs: Prepare accurate material take-offs to support project budgeting and planning.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other disciplines, clients, and third-party contractors to deliver tasks within designated timelines and budgets.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Civil Engineering Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Structural Design Skills: Proven ability to design structural elements, including steel structures.
  • American and Euro Norm Design Codes: Familiarity with these codes and standards is essential for this role.

Education & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
