Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer to join our Gateshead office dependent on experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to further their career, within a busy multi-disciplinary consultancy offering Civil, Structural, Architectural and Geo-Environmental Engineering services.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in running projects with a good level of knowledge in residential housing developments of varying sizes.
The role requires an extensive knowledge of civil engineering design, earthworks, roadworks, drainage and general external works design, programme management, together with the experience of dealing with all of the statutory authorities to gain approval for the designs produced.
The successful candidate will be required to manage civil engineering projects from planning/feasibility through to the detailed design, tender and construction phases to final handover.
Typical current projects include civil engineering design for housing estate schemes, whilst also covering other scheme types such as industrial and commercial. Projects are largely in the North East of England although UK wide projects are also ongoing.
