Your Mission

Work on the design of nuclear powerplants such as Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C, providing civil engineering expertise to ensure project success in collaboration with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design of nuclear structures, including for seismic and blast scenarios.
  • Coordinate engineering solutions among project stakeholders.
  • Review and respond to site queries, supporting contractor activities on HPC site.
  • Analyze structures using FEM tools (experience with Ansys beneficial).
  • Collaborate with reinforcement detailers, reviewing models and drawings.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Progress towards or recent Chartered status (ICE, IStructE, or equivalent).
  • Experience in reinforced concrete design and calculations.
  • Familiarity with Eurocodes, British Standards, and ETC-C code.

  • Experience in major infrastructure projects, capable of delivering high-quality work on schedule.
