Job Summary

The successful candidate will work on various schemes within the Power & Energy and Highways sectors. Power projects include onshore and offshore wind farms, grid connection infrastructure, and highway improvements supporting renewable energy infrastructure. The role involves technical design, multidisciplinary management, and project oversight, suitable for candidates approaching or recently achieving chartership with ICE or IHE.

• At least three years’ postgraduate experience
• Knowledge of DMRB, council highways standards, and MCDHW
• Experience in highway/road drainage and earthworks design
• Teamwork skills and experience managing junior team members
• Designing SUDS compliant with UK standards
• Hydraulic modelling of surface water drainage networks
• Experience liaising with local councils or Trunk Road Operators
• Proficiency in Civils 3D, CAD, and MicroDrainage software
• Experience in design or project management
• Knowledge of SEPA guidelines, CAR regulations, and licensing
• Approaching or recent chartership with ICE or IHE

Qualifications:

• BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or related field
