Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure) | Belfast

At Vickerstock, we are pleased to be working alongside one of Northern Ireland's longest standing multi-disciplinary design consultancies to recruit for the position of Civil Designer to join their talented Civil Infrastructure team. Due to a rapidly increasing pipeline of work, this role aims to support their upcoming variety of highly complex projects, including public realm, environmental improvement schemes, blue/green infrastructure, MUGAs and greenways, play parks, and sport/leisure facilities.

Your role as a Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure):

As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be a valued member of the Infrastructure team. Your responsibilities include preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed design solutions for civil infrastructure schemes. You will produce design packages and civil drawings using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, PDS, and Microsoft Office software.

Requirements:

• A degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture, or related construction discipline.
• Civil design experience, preferably in civil infrastructure projects using the specified design packages.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate as part of a team.
• 1-5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Public Realm, Greenways, or Civil Infrastructure projects is advantageous but not essential.
