Alexander Associates is seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to work within a collaborative team on varied projects from drainage to highways in the UK. You'll turn ideas into practical, sustainable design solutions and contribute across each stage of civil design.

You will produce designs from concept to construction, prepare calculations and documentation, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and mentor junior staff.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil design within consultancy.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.
• Strong understanding of UK standards and regulations.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience across residential, commercial, industrial or data-centre projects.

Responsabilidades

• Produce civil engineering designs from concept to construction.
• Design drainage, external works, levels, earthworks and highways.
• Prepare calculations, reports, specifications and design documentation.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects and contractors.
• Support Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input.
• Support site inspections and respond to technical queries.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design improvements.
