Aldwych Consulting Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to take ownership of civil design projects within a growing consultancy. The role is based in London with hybrid working, offering an autonomy-rich environment across planning to detailed design stages.

You will contribute to drainage design, flood risk assessments, and calculations for a varied development portfolio, collaborating with clients and authorities while delivering high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within a UK civil engineering consultancy.
• Excellent working knowledge of InfoDrainage.
• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.

Responsibilities

• Independently deliver civil engineering projects from planning through to detailed design.
• Undertake drainage design and modelling using InfoDrainage.
• Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Produce civil engineering calculations, designs and drawings.
• Design below-ground drainage, external works and earthworks.
• Develop levels, earthworks and wider site infrastructure.
• Liaise with clients, project teams, Local Authorities, LLFAs and statutory authorities.
• Manage your own projects, workload and technical deliverables.
