Overview

Think Civil & Structural Engineering are currently working with a successful independent consultancy who have an opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join their busy infrastructure team.

Our client are totally flexible on the level they bring someone in, from 1-2 years up to Senior level.

Responsibilities

• Work on residential developments including the production of and gaining approval for S38, S278 and S104 packages.
• Have a clear understanding of current design standards for both roads and drainage including local authority, national and regulatory guidance and planning policy.
• Be proficient in the use of Causeway PDS and/or Civil 3D and Causeway Flow and/or Microdrainage.
• From day one, be responsible for the design and delivery of multiple projects at various stages from conception through to completion at both a local and national level.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience within highways/drainage design.
• Understanding of design standards for roads and drainage and relevant guidance and planning policy.
