Civil Design Engineer

Are you looking to take the next step in your civil engineering career with a forward-thinking consultancy? We're working with a growing engineering practice that specialises in the design and delivery of infrastructure projects across the UK. Their work spans highways, drainage, earthworks, and public realm schemes, supporting both private and public sector clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Civil Engineer to join a collaborative team where you'll be involved in projects from concept through to completion, gaining exposure to a variety of technical challenges and career development opportunities.

The Role
  • Design and deliver civil engineering works including highways, drainage, SuDS, earthworks, and external works.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Work with industry-standard design software (Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, AutoCAD, PDS).
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, statutory bodies, and multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Support planning submissions, including Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Drainage Strategies.
  • Assist junior team members and contribute to maintaining technical quality standards.
  • Attend site visits and support during construction phases.
About You
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng) or related discipline.
