Civil Design Engineer

Location: Glasgow

First People Solutions is currently working with a leading consulting engineer who is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Glasgow.

The company is involved in the planning, design, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects across the UK. Their diverse portfolio covers sectors such as Government, Energy, Healthcare, Property, and Transport.

To succeed in this role, you should be an experienced Civil Engineer from an established design engineering consultancy, with strong civil design skills and a solid background in development infrastructure.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering
2. At least 3 years of experience working within a design engineering environment in the UK
3. Experience in the design and specification of civils drainage, earthworks, and/or roads/highways
4. Proficiency in software such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civils 3D is desirable
