Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Civil Design Engineer for a permanent role based in Swindon on a fully site-based setup. You will manage technical design queries, coordinate RFIs, and support design programmes, ensuring records and communications are clear across the project team.

The role requires CAD software experience, an HNC/HND in an engineering discipline, and 3–5 years of experience, with UK work eligibility. A car allowance and benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• CAD software experience.
• HNC/HND Minimum in relevant Engineering Discipline.
• 3-5 Years Experience.
• UK National Security Vetting Status.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and design queries, including assigning actions, tracking responses, and coordinating RFIs across the project team.
• Coordinate design workshops, interface meetings, and internal design reviews, maintaining accurate records and ensuring effective communication between stakeholders.
• Support the Design Manager in delivering design programmes, monitoring progress, reviewing monthly reports, and maintaining design deliverables schedules.
• Review drawings and design deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements, quality standards, and contractual design management processes.
• Manage document control and BIM coordination for permanent and temporary works in collaboration with project teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and the BIM/CAD Technician.
• Support the Lead TWC in coordinating temporary works design packages and ensuring adherence to Temporary Works procedures.
