Job summary

Boyd Recruitment are recruiting for an Associate Director / Contracts Manager for a civil engineering division in central Scotland. You will lead a management team of around 5 and a labour workforce of about 50, driving profitability through CVR, budget control and client negotiations.

You will develop new business, attend tenders and networking events, and oversee multi-site operations while aligning with the company's growth and efficiency targets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable management experience in the Civil engineering contracting market (sub-contractor experience preferred).
• Experience in Estimating and budget control activities.
• Proven ability to manage a team and multi-site operations.
• Experience with CVR / cost and budget management processes.
• Excellent communicator capable of leading teams toward common goals and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general management and commercial success of the civil engineering division.
• Drive profitability through CVR management and effective client engagement.
• Lead a team of ~5 managers and a ~50-strong workforce.
• Develop new business through meetings with clients, tenders, and networking events.
