Contract Length: 12mo minimum with future extensions

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading contractor on a major project as part of the Southern Integrated Delivery for CP7. As a result, this role requires previous experience of working for a main contractor as a Civil CEM or potentially as a civil CRE.

The responsibilities of this role will include interfacing with the design teams across multiple disciplines including track, civils, OLE, signalling, and managing design assurance. You will be working with up to 5 CREs, managing them and working with the principal design, construction, and overall design team to ensure cohesion across the project.

During the design phase you will be attending client and designer offices from the likes of Birmingham, London and Swindon. Expenses could be covered for the right person. During construction phase this role will be based on site in Bedfordshire.

There is plenty of future opportunities which include taking a lead on future construction projects and building an enhancements teams for the client.

This role is inside IR35 and can be worked freelance or as a flexible worker contract.

Essential:
·Civils-biased CEM or CRE experience
·Willingness to travel to client and designer offices
·Willing to be site based in Bedfordshire in construction phase
·Previous major rail project experience
