My client, a specialist UK-based Civil Engineering Consultancy specializing in Structural, Civil, and Environmental Engineering, is searching for a Civil CAD Technician to join their team in York.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline, including a HNC/HND or BSc in Civil Engineering. Ideally, candidates will have experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Local Authority, completing wastewater treatment designs using AutoCAD, Revit, or Infodrainage.

Beneficial skills include experience with BIM modelling, Infoworks, or Causeway Flow.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with a team of experienced Engineers on Water and Wastewater Treatment projects for Water Companies.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Sewerage and Pipeline Designs using AutoCAD, Revit, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
2. Creating 2D and 3D design models and drawings for drainage and road designs for residential developments.
3. Design layouts, RC details, sections, site plans, and civil detailing using Revit and Civil3D.
4. Earthworks and level assessments.
