Civil AutoCAD Technician

You will be working with a leading global consultancy specializing in sustainable water resources management and physical infrastructure development. Due to recent project awards and continued growth, they are looking to hire a Civil Technician on a permanent basis in their Belfast office.

Chartered Engineers are available to provide mentoring and support towards achieving Chartership status, and they actively encourage Technician Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of the Civil Engineering Team, your duties will include:

• Preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed design solutions for various civil engineering projects.
• Liaising and coordinating with other design team members, both internally and externally.
• Attending design team meetings and client liaison meetings as appropriate.
• Assisting in preparing drawing lists, programmes, specifications, and progress reports using Microsoft Office software.
• Cooperating with site supervisory resources.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:

• Applicants must have a tertiary qualification in a related discipline such as Civil Engineering.
• 3-5 years of postgraduate industry experience.
• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D or BIM is desirable but training can be provided.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate as part of a team.
