A Civil and Structural Maritime Engineer is needed by a civil and structural practice with multiple offices across the UK, heavily involved in the maritime sector, due to recent project wins.
The firm works on projects across the UK and internationally, focusing on maritime structures such as ports, harbours, jetties, and quay walls.
The ideal candidate will have design experience related to maritime structures, a good understanding of civil and structural design, and a degree qualification. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a maritime engineer is preferred.
Applicants with strong heavy civil design experience in areas like bridges, tunnels, temporary works, or underground structures will also be considered.
The role involves designing maritime infrastructure both offshore and onshore.
The client encourages candidates to demonstrate progress towards Chartership if not already achieved.
The position offers a salary of approximately £45,000 to £60,000, depending on experience, along with a generous benefits package. Hybrid working arrangements are available.
