Job summary

Champneys is seeking a Senior City Spa Therapist for a part-time role, offering £14.00 per hour and 16 hours per week. The position focuses on delivering high‑quality facials, massages, and nail treatments with strong training and development opportunities.

Applicants should have spa/beauty salon experience, be qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, and posses at least two years as a therapist. Weekend shifts may be required and a supportive team environment is promised.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all treatments to required standards within booked time.
• Provide ultimate client care for clients paying for Senior Massage.
• Coordinate with the manager on scheduled treatments and changes.
• Attend training courses as required.
• Keep up to date with developments relating to product ranges and new treatments.
• Ensure equipment is fully operational and report defects as needed.

As a Senior City Spa Therapist, you will be passionate and friendly, whilst providing first class service delivering the highest standard of therapeutic, holistic and wellbeing treatments. You will be confident with facials, massages and nail treatments. As a therapist with Champneys, you will be given excellent training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.

Some duties and responsibilities include;

• To carry out all treatments to the required standards ensuring the specific treatment time is adhered to.
• To provide ultimate client care to clients paying for Senior Massage.
• To liaise in a positive and constructive manner with the manager on the days scheduled treatments, any changes, additions etc in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. Flexibility and cooperation are required. This may also include shift changes.
• To attend any appropriate training courses required.
• To keep up to date with developments relating to the product ranges and any new treatments.
• To ensure that equipment is fully operational and clean and report any defects to maintenance via the Manager at any time of the day.
• To adhere to Health and Safety regulations by using safe work practices.

We require you to be qualified in the following:

• Experience working in a spa or beauty salon
• At least 2 years’ experience working as a therapist
• NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent

Weekend working is on a rota basis.
