ABM Industries is seeking an External Cleaning Operative in Glasgow City Centre. The role involves physical outdoor cleaning tasks, including pressure washing, graffiti removal, litter collection, and detailed cleaning of fixed assets.

The candidate should be reliable, able to work on a rota including early mornings, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Good communication and timekeeping are essential.

Responsibilities

• Pressure washing of streets and surfaces.
• Graffiti removal tasks.
• Litter pick and sweep of designated streets within Glasgow City Centre.
• Detail work such as removing adhesives from bollards, barriers, bins, phone boxes and utility boxes.
• Adhere to group and company policies and procedures.
• Report any safety or environmental risks or deficiencies to line manager.
• Use PPE and equipment properly according to training.
• Report issues or training needs to Line manager.
