The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a key jurisdiction within Court Services Victoria, with a long-standing history of delivering justice across metropolitan and regional courts. The Court handles over 300,000 cases annually at 51 venues, representing about 90% of all cases in Victorian courts each year. It strives to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court providing high-quality services to the Victorian community.

  • Experience providing holistic, strengths-based, and collaborative case management support.
  • Ability to communicate hope and optimism for change, applying a person-centred and evidence-based approach to motivate clients.
  • Knowledge of engaging clients through assessment and treatment planning to develop individual support plans.
  • Strong skills in clear communication, documentation, information security, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work respectfully and culturally sensitively with diverse clients, ensuring services are family/person-centred and inclusive.
  • Experience preparing client progress reports and effectively discussing your work in court settings.
