Experis are recruiting for a Network & Systems Engineer to join their established IT team in Watford. This broad, hands-on infrastructure role focuses on networking and Microsoft technologies, with strong Cisco experience essential.

It involves supporting a business-critical environment across on-premise and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in Network/Infrastructure Engineering, strong Windows Server/AD, Azure experience, and solid troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Around 5+ years' recent Network / Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Cisco networking knowledge, ideally at CCNP level.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
• Good firewall knowledge.
• Experience working with Azure.
• Broad enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Cisco network infrastructure
• Provide 3rd line support across server and network environments
• Support Windows Server and Active Directory technologies
• Support Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls and wider network security technologies
• Support backup, recovery and core infrastructure services
• Investigate incidents and complete root-cause analysis
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, projects and continuous improvement activity
• Work closely with wider IT teams and third-party suppliers where required
