Job summary

Breedon Group in Manchester (Ashbury) Aggregates Depot & Concrete Plant is seeking a hands-on Site Operative to manage daily recycling yard and aggregate operations. You will operate heavy plant, assist with maintenance, and follow strict safety and environmental procedures on site.

The role requires working from 7:00am to 5:00pm, 48 hours per week, with a permanent full-time contract in the Operations and Maintenance department.

We are looking for an Operative to join our aggregate and recycling yard in Ashbury, Manchester.

In this hands-on role, you’ll lead the recycling yard day to day operations and the handling of aggregates and materials to meet production targets safely and efficiently. You’ll operate heavy plant and equipment, carry out basic maintenance, and follow strict health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

As front line operative working in an aggregate recycling facility, you'll ensure imported materials are managed in a compliant and efficient manner.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, machinery, and working as part of a team in a busy environment.

You will be contracted to 48 hours per week, working from 7:00am to 5:00pm
