Hidden away on the second floor, our cigar lounge blends leafy Cuban aesthetics with a luxuriously elegant finish. From the chilled Havana-inspired soundtrack, to the expertise of our sommeliers, Oscuro provides a peaceful escape for cigar aficionados.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Cigar Sommelier to join our Oscuro team.

Successful Cigar Sommelier applicants will become part of a fun, dynamic team working across all aspects of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an up-to-date cigar list and ensure correct storage and cleanliness of humidors.
  • Assist guests with cigar and wine pairings, following service standards.
  • Support cigar stock takes and ensure accurate recording of tobacco items.
  • Serve food and drinks in cigar areas, keeping the space clean and ready.
  • Train staff on cigar knowledge and participate in daily briefings.
  • Attend meetings, support smooth operations, and uphold housekeeping standards.
  • Protect guest items and club property, reporting issues promptly.
  • Share member preferences to maintain profiles and enhance service.
  • Use resources responsibly to control costs.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Take ownership of your professional development with the Head Cigar Sommelier.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the club's operations.
