CIB Structured Trade Finance Risk Manager

About the job:

We are part of the risk division under the Chief Risk Officer of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) business unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide sound, timely, and well-communicated recommendations for structured trade finance credit facilities, supported by thorough analysis of relevant structures, industry, business, and market information.
• Coordinate with business lines and credit teams to obtain credit approvals.
• Monitor the credit quality of the relevant portfolio continuously.

What we are looking for:

Experience and knowledge:

• Over 7 years of relevant experience in analyzing structured trade finance transactions, either from front/business line or credit underwriting teams.
• Deep understanding of structured trade finance products such as prepayments, inventory finance, borrowing base facilities, and securitization.
• University degree is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.

Language skills:

• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of Spanish is an asset.

Soft skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
