Gynaecology/Breast Theatres
Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, situated on Foresterhill Campus, overlooks the modern, busy city of Aberdeen and the North Sea. The area offers an excellent balance between urban and rural living, with easy access to staycation destinations like Royal Deeside, Cairngorm National Park, and the North Coast 500. Aberdeen International Airport provides connectivity to the UK, Europe, and beyond.
ARI is a Major Trauma and ECMO referral centre, serving remote locations including the North Sea oil and gas industry. Our strategy is to attract top perioperative talent as we pursue Magnet recognition and Pathway to Excellence. The theatres are expanding their robotics programme, recently starting robotic thoracic and ENT surgeries.
We are seeking skilled Perioperative staff for Band 5 Staff Nurse/ODP positions in our Gynaecology/Breast surgery theatre, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Applicants with a dynamic and enthusiastic approach, a passion for learning, and a perioperative experience portfolio are encouraged to apply. Support includes a comprehensive onboarding programme and a friendly, experienced multidisciplinary team. A good attendance record is valued. The role involves participating in out-of-hours on-call duties.
Full NMC / HCPC registration is required.
