Carlsberg Britvic is recruiting a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the Excellence programme across the business from Beckton. You will champion lean initiatives and mentor leaders to deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

The role focuses on coaching, project delivery, and building KPI-based performance systems to drive sustainable change throughout manufacturing and operations. Competitive salary and extensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Lean, TPM, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
• Proven track record of sustainable operational improvements.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and end-to-end process understanding.

• Confident facilitator and presenter driving capability building.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the Carlsberg Excellence programme, embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
• Champion operational excellence initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance.
• Coach, train, and mentor leaders and teams on continuous improvement tools, lean methodologies, and problem solving.
• Lead focused improvement projects to eliminate waste, reduce losses, and deliver measurable business results.
• Develop and sustain performance management systems that provide clear visibility of KPIs and operational priorities.
• Facilitate workshops, Gemba activities, and improvement events that build capability and drive engagement.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business strategy into practical improvement plans and actions.
• Promote benchmarking and standardisation to improve consistency and performance.
• Support change programmes and transformation initiatives, ensuring sustainable adoption of new ways of working.
• Act as a trusted Continuous Improvement leader, driving accountability, capability development, and long-term business performance.

Role Responsibilities:

Experience and Key Attributes:

• Proven experience driving continuous improvement through Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Strong track record of delivering sustainable operational performance improvements.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of end-to-end business processes.
• Ability to influence, engage, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experienced in leading, coaching, and developing teams to deliver change.
• Confident facilitator and presenter, able to drive capability building across the business.
• Adaptable leadership style with a customer-focused, results-driven approach.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in analysing and presenting data.
• Experience in a Continuous Improvement role with demonstrable achievements is highly desirable.
