Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager to lead improvement projects across its UK distribution network. You will drive initiatives that optimize inventory, enhance service delivery, and align with supply chain goals, working closely with procurement, logistics, warehouse and IT teams.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and demonstrated experience managing fast-paced supply chain projects, with strong analytical and leadership capabilities to communicate

Qualifications

• A degree in supply chain, logistics or project management is preferred.
• Experience delivering supply chain or logistics projects in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain improvement projects from initiation through closure.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, warehouse and IT to develop project plans.
• Monitor risks related to supply chain disruptions and implement mitigations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet milestones and report progress to senior management.

This role ensures that project objectives align with supply chain goals and that stakeholder expectations are met through effective coordination.Key Responsibilities:Manage supply chain improvement projects from initiation through implementation and closure.Collaborate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and IT teams to develop project plans.Monitor project risks related to supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation strategies.Coordinate cross-functional teams ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.• Communicate project progress and challenges to senior management. • Implement supply chain innovations and best practices in collaboration with stakeholders.Ensure compliance with all relevant supply chain policies, regulations, and standards.Qualifications and Experience:Degree or qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Project Management preferred.Experience managing supply chain or logistics projects in a fast-paced distribution environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Familiarity with supply chain systems and software tools.Effective leadership and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.Not the right fit?
