Job summary

Pastel Health seeks a Physiotherapist to join a new Chronic Pain service. You will provide specialist input into assessment and treatment, working within a multidisciplinary team to shape care and champion biopsychosocial approaches.

Expect regular supervision, peer learning, and collaboration with leading Consultants in Pain Medicine. The role offers flexible working arrangements and compensation based on experience, with in-person attendance at our Aspen Centre clinic in Gloucester.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy with HCPC registration is essential.
• Experience applying biopsychosocial models to chronic pain.
• Demonstrated CPD and professional development.
• Desirable postgraduate qualification in pain management.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement evidence-based interventions focusing on functional capacity.
• Deliver in-person and remote care across pathways including 1:1 and group Pain Management Programmes.
• Apply clinical reasoning with anatomy, pain science, and biopsychosocial models.
• Share insights with MDT for holistic care and risk management.
• Support quality through audit, governance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with primary, community and tertiary care teams.
• Stay updated with research and best practice in chronic pain management.
• Contribute to development of clinical pathways, PMP content, and webinars.
