Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Operative for the Parcelforce Christmas season. You will load and unload parcels, move items through the warehouse safely, and prepare trailers for drivers while adhering to standards for items like food or alcohol.

The role emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and physical stamina to sustain long shifts. Weekly pay and a dynamic, team-oriented environment are offered for a seasonal period.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; however, experience in similar environments is a bonus.
• Able to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).
• Physical fitness and ability to manage long shifts on your feet.
• Motivation, reliability, and readiness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parcels.
• Move parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Sort parcels to correct delivery route and prepare trailers for drivers and onward transport.
• Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling specific items in line with Royal Mail standards.
