Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Operative for Parcelforce during the Christmas season. You will be loading and unloading parcels, moving items through a busy warehouse, and preparing trailers for drivers while adhering to safety standards.

No prior experience is required, but a willingness to work as part of a team, stay flexible across shifts, and maintain fitness for long hours on your feet are important. Competitive weekly pay in a dynamic environment awaits.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; however, experience in similar environments is a bonus.
• Flexibility and comfort in switching between tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).
• Physical fitness and ability to manage long shifts on your feet.
• Motivation, reliability, and readiness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parcels.
• Move parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Sort parcels to correct delivery route and prepare trailers for drivers and onward transport.
• Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling specific items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.
