Job summary

Butlin's in Skegness is seeking energetic individuals to join as Christmas Sports Coach for a fixed-term, part-time seasonal role from 1 December 2026 to 1 January 2027. You will engage guests, deliver lively activities, and work as part of a dynamic Leisure team.

No sport coaching background is required, only enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, and a passion for guest experiences. Expect a varied workload and opportunities to grow into larger sports and adventure-based activities.

This role will run from 1st December 2026 until 1st January 2027

We’re looking for energetic, positive individuals who are ready to interact with guests and bring activities to life. You’ll enjoy getting involved, learning new skills, and delivering fun, engaging experiences.

You don’t need to have a sports coaching background, although it would be beneficial. What matters most is your ‘can do’ attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for creating memorable moments for our guests.

You’ll be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves variety in your role, and is excited by the opportunity to grow - starting with smaller activities and progressing into larger sports and adventure-based roles.

Key Responsibilities

We’re looking for people who are energetic, switched-on, responsible, and love being around others. You stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and work well as part of a team. Because this role can be busy and physically demanding, you’ll need to be alert, active, and ready to get stuck in.

To join the team, you’ll need to:

• Be a strong and confident swimmer
• Be aged 16 or over
• Have excellent awareness and attention to detail
• Be confident responding to emergency situations
