Job summary

Fenwick is recruiting Sales Advisors for the festive period at our Colchester store. You will welcome customers, build rapport, and ensure an outstanding in-store experience in line with our hospitality standards.

Roles include permanent and temporary contracts, with both full-time and part-time options. You must be fully flexible, including evenings and weekends, and start dates range from September to November, with most contracts ending late December/early January 2027.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to deliver customer service in a front-facing role.
• Excellent communicator with interpersonal skills.
• Retail experience is desirable but not essential.

About the Opportunity

Do you have what it takes to join our team as a Sales Advisor? We are looking for people who are dynamic and who will help ensure our customers experience our famous hospitality when visiting us over the festive period!

Our Sales Advisors are flexible, dynamic and brand ambassadors for Fenwick. You will build rapport with each customer, ensuring that they have the best in-store experience. You will live and breathe our values, working with passion and pride whilst being committed to maintaining our high standards and helping our customers make the right purchase.

Christmas is our busiest time of the year, so you will need to be fully flexible and available Monday through Sunday. We have permanent and temporary roles available with both full-time and part-time vacancies.

About the Candidate

We look for warm and welcoming people, who are adaptable, courageous, innovative, and goal-orientated to join us on this journey. As well as these key characteristics, this role also requires some specific skills and experience to succeed…

• A strong desire to deliver enhancing customer service and work in a customer facing role.
• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Previous experience or a passion for retail is desirable but not essential.

You will be invited to one of our Future Fenwick Assessment days at a time that suits you to gain a valuable insight into the role and our business.

We have start dates ranging from September through to November, with most contracts ending late December / early January 2027.

All contracts will require you to be available evenings, weekends and over the festive period including Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day (depending on your rota).
