Job summary

DCK Group Inverness festive retail associate role. The position is 10 hours per week, temporary until 26/12/2026, with shifts including Tuesdays and Thursdays and a start time of 9:00am. You must have your own vehicle and full driving licence.

You will work in-store delivering merchandising, stock deliveries and promotional activities, supported by a Team Leader. A customer‑facing, friendly attitude and comfort using apps are required; travel to stores within your zone may be needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting.
• Sales or retail experience preferred.
• Access to a smartphone with up-to-date OS.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising products to visual guidelines.
• Put out deliveries of new stock.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Set up promotional activities.

Job description

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Inverness - 10 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 5 Tuesday, 5 Thursday,

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Festive Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Inverness butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need as a customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines
• Putting out deliveries of new stock
• Maintaining housekeeping standards
• Setting up promotional activities
• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Requirements;

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.
• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
