Job summary

DCK Group in Crediton is seeking a Christmas Retail Associate for 25 hours per week to support stores during the peak season. You will join a team delivering customer service and in-store merchandising, with coaching from a Team Leader to help drive sales.

The role runs until 26 December 2026. Benefits include £12.71 per hour, mileage/parking paid, a pension scheme, life assurance, and free jewellery (£25–£55/month). Travel to other stores within your zone may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer-facing setting is preferred, working in retail or with fashion brands is a plus.
• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred.
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with up-to-date operating systems.

• Putting out deliveries of new stock.
• Setting up promotional activities.
• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Crediton - 25 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Christmas Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

£12.71 per hour

Free jewellery – from £25 - £55 per month!

Mileage and parking expenses paid (subject to T&C’s)

You will be based in Crediton but may be required to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.
